October was a month crowded with events: At the beginning of the month the
young designers of Elfenkleid celebrated the opening of their shop with a
fashion show
of their new collection "au dessous". Soon after we had a colourful
evening with the presentation of Wella Viva Color hair colouring products.
By mid-October the
Vienna Couture Award 2003 was handed over to the winning desiger Alexander
Georgiev. Last month we had the pleasure to view a fashion show for plus
size women
held at Maska Boutique with their Elekta line. Ladies of the Viennese high
society made it to the catwalk soon after for an Escada charity fashion
show held for
the benefit of the CliniClowns who try to cheer up sick people in their
hospital rooms. Afterwards we had an overview over the hairtrends for the
upcoming year
when the Wella Trend Visions "Tales of Folk, Secret Affairs and Urban
Manifesto" were presented. At the end of the month Vienna turned into the
capital city of
high fashion when it saw the first "A La Mode" event. Fashion shows with
the summer collections by Anne Klein New York, Escada, Z Zegna, Exte, GF
Ferre, Just
Cavalli, Versace Versus, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss took place here for
the first time.
Concerning our collections we had quite a few updates too: We have the new
collection by Kayiko, young fashion by Mango and Vero Moda, new trends at
BR Fashion
Boutique, the new Armani collections for Women and Men, breathtaking
lingerie by La Perla, accessories by Versace and Joop and if you want to
protect yourself
against the nasty November weather: get a Barbour jacket! If you are
looking for inspiration for a new hairdo, have a look at the creative
creations by
headquarters - a hair dressing school.
As usual our offer:
